# A New Dealer Out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Congratulations and a warm welcome to [Sean Reid](https://www.technometalpost.com/en-US/dealer/techno-metal-post-of-pittsburgh/)
, on becoming the latest addition to our ever-growing network of dealers. With the help of his son, he is now servicing the greater Pittsburgh area.

 He worked at a civil engineering firm during his college years, gaining valuable experience that laid the foundation for his future projects. His early exposure within this specialized field would serve him well in the years to come. Sean's academic goals eventually led him to graduate with a degree in computer science, and from there he went on a different path for the next thirty years. Throughout this time, he developed an interest in construction, as he followed developments through various construction shows. One recurring theme kept getting his attention- the use of helical piers as a foundation solution.

 In 2020, after years of doing large and small construction projects on the side, he ventured into property management. While working on a house in 2022, he once again came across helical piers as he researched a large deck project. This captured his curiosity, because of the serendipitous and repetitive presence over the past years.

 Through research, Sean soon discovered that helical piers weren't serviced in his area. Seeing an opportunity, he reached out to Techno Metal Post to learn more about becoming a helical pier dealer in the greater Pittsburgh area. When he set out to start a new business venture, he also enlisted the help of his son, who possesses valuable mechanical and outdoor expertise.

 We wish them both much success on their new business venture!
