# Annual Meeting – Europe

On May 30 & 31st, all European dealers were brought together under one roof, at Techno Metal Posts’ annual meeting, in Amiens (France).

 Its purpose was to inform the dealers on recent technological developments and promotional tools. The event was well received, and allowed us to see the ongoing drive the dealers bring to our network. All of them took the opportunity to exchange tips and suggestions, as well as discuss their most recent achievements.

 A note-worthy mention, was the commemoration of the business’s 20 years in the industry; Techno Metal Post was started in 1993 by Clément Binet and Daniel Thivierge. In 2003, TMP installed its first helical pier on European soil, and today the company has 115 dealers in nine countries. Presently accredited in Canada and France, and newly [certified](/en-CA/certifications/)
 in the U.S. in 2013, Thetford Mines has clearly become a world leader in screw pile foundations.
