Another Dealer Joins Us from the Maritimes in Canada- Techno Metal Post Cape Breton and Eastern Nova Scotia

Help us give a warm welcome to our new dealers, Chris Gurney and Bobby Howell, of Techno Metal Post Cape Breton and Eastern Nova Scotia. They are the latest members to join our expanding network, installing helical pile foundations on the East Coast of Canada. They will be proudly serving the following areas and surrounding sectors: New Glasgow, Pictou, Antigonish, Canso, Louisbourg, Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Baddeck, and Cape North.

Chris is an experienced entrepreneur who began his career in auto mechanics, dedicating over 30 years to the trade. In 2004, he opened his own shop and ran it for over two decades. After years in the industry, physical strain motivated him to explore new opportunities, and this led him to pivot his career in 2019. He decided to launch CF Electrical with his son-in-law, an experienced electrician, combining electrical services with HVAC installations. Driven by ambition and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Chris expanded into renewable energy solutions, offering solar installations, backup generators, and EV charging stations.

He noticed an increasing demand for ground-mounted solar panel systems and saw potential in having helical pile foundations for them. He reached out to local installers and learned of a two-month wait period due to high demand. Because of this obstacle, Chris recognized an opportunity to start his own business.

Joining Chris in this venture is Bobby Howell. Bobby brings 13 years of carpentry experience and recently earned his Red Seal certification, a top credential in the trade.

After years in union construction, Bobby welcomed this opportunity to work with Chris and help grow the business.
