Challenges

The project involved extending a timber-frame chalet over three levels. The installation had to be completed quickly, without disturbing the existing structure, and with minimal impact on the ground and surrounding areas.

In this context, our Techno Metal Post helical pile foundation system provided a major advantage: no excavation, fast installation, and full control of the site.

Solutions

To meet the technical requirements, 18 P4-16 piles were installed to a depth of 4 metres.
Concrete caps were then placed to allow the construction of the slab and to ensure optimal load distribution.

The installation was carried out using our EM1 machine, which is perfectly suited for residential projects and constrained environments.

This allowed:

• for a fast and precise installation;
• for work to be carried out without heavy excavation;
• for a site with no disturbance to the neighborhood.

Results / Conclusion

The foundations were completed in only 2 days, demonstrating the efficiency and speed of the Techno Metal Post system for extension and renovation projects.

This solution made it possible to:

• provide foundations perfectly suited to the structure;
• ensure the stability and durability of the three-story construction;
• significantly reduce the overall project timeline.
