An installation of 44 P4 helical piles underneath a concrete foundation to support a tower crane. This crane will be used in the construction phase of three multi-family buildings.

Install piles to support a concrete block foundation measuring 7.8 m x 7.8 m x 1.9 m thick. This concrete foundation is being used to support a crane for the construction of three (3) multi-story residential towers (18 to 24 stories). The piles were required as a foundation support due to the low bearing capacity of the surrounding soil and the heavy loads being transferred by the crane and the concrete block.

Position certain piles at a slight angle (± 5 degrees) to ensure optimal pile layout and load transfer in both compression and tension.
± 5.3 m from the bottom of the excavation. The piles rest on the bedrock (shale).
