Help us welcome David Blinn, who recently joined our network as the proud owner of Techno Metal Post of Seattle, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Originally from New York’s Hudson Valley, his journey has taken him across several states and even overseas before settling in Washington. Outside of work, David and his wife enjoy family time with their five daughters.

David's career began in military intelligence, where he served for 12 years in the U.S. Army. During his military career, he worked at the National Security Agency (NSA) in Maryland and had the opportunity to also live and work in several different places. These experiences taught him a deep sense of discipline, leadership skills, and adaptability. After completing his military service, David spent the next 20 years building a career in sales, marketing, operations, and general management. Thanks to this diverse background, he has acquired an impressive entrepreneurial acumen and a solid understanding of business dynamics.

David’s decision to join Techno Metal Post happened after he had the opportunity to work with his brother-in-law, Chris Hebert, owner of TMP Evergreen. Inspired by the company’s strong culture, values, and collaborative dealer network, he saw an opportunity that aligned with his longtime desire to own a business.

Being veterans themselves, David and Chris share the common vision of operating and representing Techno Metal Post as a Washington-based, veteran-owned business.

David is excited to serve the Seattle, Shoreline, Kirkland, Renton, Kent, Auburn, and the broader King County region of Washington, where he will be installing innovative helical piles. He is committed to providing quality service and building strong relationships within these communities.

Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, Gilles Pelletier is a family man- married and father of two daughters. After a 20-year career as a welder-assembler, a major health challenge forced him to change his career path. Like his wife, he pursued a real estate license and worked in the field for five years. However, in 2020, during covid, working door-to-door became very difficult, and his business began its decline. Gilles started looking for new opportunities and found one when he joined the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency), where he’s been working remotely for the past few years.

This lifestyle allowed him to build his house while continuing his career. He told us, "Now that my daughters have left the nest, I'm ready to take on a new challenge as an independent entrepreneur."

His journey began when he had piles installed for his house. Disappointed with the service he received, he did some research into other companies and discovered Techno Metal Post. Impressed by the quality of the products and the company's excellent reputation, he saw an opportunity to become a dealer and offer a great service in his region. After reaching out and having discussions with Alain, market developer for Ontario, his interest turned to a strong determination: he wanted to be part of the Techno Metal Post family and start his business.

Gilles is now planning to build a house addition to accommodate all his family, while also building his dealership business. This opportunity will let him spend more time with his family and help support his grandkids. His idea is to leave behind his business legacy to his grandchildren.

We are happy to announce the arrival of Thomas Rivière and Techno Pieux Limousin to our French network. Based in Brive-la-Gaillarde and a father of three, Thomas brings considerable skills to the team. He holds an engineering degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Angers, with a major in infrastructure. 

He gained his professional experience during his six years of service in the army, where he worked within the Defence Infrastructure Service Division. He began his career as operations manager, overseeing industrial infrastructure projects in Brest before heading a maintenance engineering unit in Brive-la-Gaillarde.  

After meeting Erwan, dealer for Techno Pieux Maine – Le Mans in France, he discovered the world of helical piles. After several years of working within the Defence Infrastructure Service, he was driven by the desire to start his own business, work with a high-value product, and maintain a close presence on construction sites. He told us: "Techno Pieux met all my expectations."  

And so, Thomas has joined the Techno Pieux family, and we wish him much success in his endeavors.

Sean Byrne now operates Techno Metal Post Oxford, and with a strong background in construction, he brings many years of hands-on experience to our network. He began his professional journey as a Quantity Surveyor before launching his own contracting company in civil engineering projects. Later down the road, his career evolved into the domain of property development.

Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife, two grown-up children, and their Irish Setter.

He discovered Techno Metal Post’s helical piles through a friend, where he saw the quality of a pile installation. Inspired by their efficiency and potential, he went in search of a business opportunity, which he found with Techno Metal Post. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to witnessing his success!

Hunter Sorenson, based in Montana, has recently acquired the Techno Metal Post Yellowstone dealership from its previous owner Jesse Brown and is now the newest dealer to join the Techno Metal Post family. An avid outdoorsman, Hunter is lucky to live near Yellowstone National Park. He enjoys skiing, fishing, being in nature, and loves spending quality time with his fiancée Danielle and their 18-month-old daughter, Billy June. “Family is everything to me,” he shares. “We love to cook together and just enjoy the simple things.”

He has over a decade of experience in the building industry and has spent the last years focused on residential construction—specializing in remodels, namely additions, decks, and kitchens. For the past eight years, he’s had the role of project manager, bringing with him his background in welding and construction.

Hunter’s connection with Techno Metal Post began long before he became a dealer. He told us, “I first saw the product about six years ago on a project we were working on, and I was impressed. It just made sense—it tied together everything I knew about layout, welding, and construction.” Over the years, he continued to use Techno Metal Post’s helical piles in projects because of their efficiency, simplicity, and the reliable foundation solution they offered. “Honestly, I wouldn’t build a deck any other way now.”

Now, Hunter is proud to serve Montana as the new dealer for Yellowstone. We welcome him and wish him a great road ahead!

Please help us welcome Steve Jordan, proud new owner of Techno Metal Post Hudson Valley. This dealership has officially transitioned from its previous owner Khan Ellis to Steve, who is excited to carry forward the legacy of Techno Metal Post in this region.

Steve presently lives in Orange County, New York, with his wife and 2 children. He enjoys doing outdoor activities such as mountain biking, traveling, and camping with his family.

Originally from Minnesota, Steve earned a mechanical engineering degree from the US Naval Academy. After graduation, he moved to San Diego to start training at BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL) in San Diego. Steve served 7 years and 2 deployments as a Navy SEAL.

Steve separated from the Navy after his last deployment and accepted an operations engineer position with Microsoft in Wyoming. He led 40 critical environment technicians on preventative and emergency maintenance for HVAC and power generation. After a successful 2 years with Microsoft, Steve pivoted into management consulting and moved to New York with the intent of finding a business that he could buy and operate.

It was during this search that Steve met Khan and discovered Techno Metal Post. Steve knew he had found the right opportunity when he joined the annual dealer meeting. He told us, “I was impressed by the strong brand, and your excellent product. Getting to interact with the other dealers and seeing a supportive network sealed the deal for me.”

Today, Steve leads a team of five and they all look forward to growth opportunities ahead. We welcome Steve to our network and wish him great luck in his future endeavors!

Justin Beaton, a husband and father of two daughters with a third child on the way, joins us as the new dealer for Techno Metal Post Edmonton Area.

An electrician by trade, Justin has also worked on various construction projects over the years, including building homes. In addition, he’s been involved in heavy civil coordination and contributed to building trains for the LRT in Edmonton.

His journey to Techno Metal Post was influenced by Christian Rousseau, the President and General Manager of TMP Alberta. Justin had our helical piles installed in his home and was immediately impressed by the benefits they offered. He saw a future potential for starting a dealership in the Edmonton area and patiently waited for that opportunity to arise.

His diverse background has equipped him with valuable experience for his new role with Techno Metal Post. We are excited to have Justin on board and welcome him to this ever-growing family. Much success ahead!

Introducing Mike Nicholl, the proud owner of Techno Metal Post Peterborough in Ontario.

On the personal front, Mike and his wife Jessica welcomed a baby girl this past January to their growing family!

Professionally, Mike has a diverse background. For the past five years, he’s worked as a certified installer for Jason Lafantaisie, the owner of TMP Kitchener-Waterloo, who he’s known since high school. Their time working together has played an important role in Mike's career decisions. Prior to working with Jason, Mike was a CNC operator, a skilled professional responsible for operating special machines, and before that he gained valuable experience as a retail manager.

Mike told us he didn’t previously have a construction background but has always wanted to be his own boss. Needless to say, he jumped on the opportunity to start a dealership for the Peterborough region when it presented itself. With this launch, that dream is now a reality.

As the owner of TMP Peterborough, Mike is officially part of the Techno Metal Post family. We are thrilled to have him on board and wish him much success!

Welcoming Erwan de Sonis to our TMP family!  Erwan spent his childhood in the region of Sarthe in France, tying him to the Le Mans area from a young age. His impressive educational journey began at the military school Prytanée National de la Flèche, followed by the Naval High School of Brest in CPES (Prep Classes for Higher Studies). Here, he learned the essential skills of discipline and rigor which proved invaluable as he completed his second year of CPGE (Prep Classes for Grandes Écoles) at Lycée Montesquieu in Le Mans.

Erwan later attended ENSTIB, earning an engineering degree specializing in construction. After graduating, he joined ‘Aux Charpentiers De France’ as a team manager for carpenters but eventually shifted his focus from wood to metal construction, while acquiring new skills in production and project management. He gained valuable experience through internships at a marine carpentry company in Sorrento, Australia, and later as an assistant engineer at Naval Group in Cherbourg. His final internship took place at Ateliers Perrault's study office near Angers.

He was introduced to Techno Metal Post through his wife's family at which point he explored the world of foundation solutions. Owning strong entrepreneurial skills, he decided to open a dealership in his childhood region of Sarthe and Mayenne and join the TMP family. We wish Erwan much success ahead!
