We are excited to introduce Wesley Staal, another dealer from Northern Ontario, Canada, with Techno Metal Post Thunder Bay.
Wesley’s background spans over a decade of working in a transmission shop, along with gaining experience with small motors and diesel mechanics, until he landed a position at a large-scale manufacturing facility.
After many years there, he decided it was time to become his own boss and went on to purchase a small sewage company. He successfully grew it into a thriving operation in under seven years before selling the business. To this day, he continues to stay connected by providing ongoing management and consulting.
He discovered helical piles while planning a 1,000‑square‑foot deck and a sauna foundation at his own camp. The camp’s soil is soft and waterlogged, so traditional concrete footings weren’t an option. After researching helical pier foundations, he found Techno Metal Post.
“The more I looked into it, the more it made sense,” Wesley says. After discovering that Thunder Bay and the surrounding communities were underserved, his decision to become a dealer and commit to another business became clear.
Here we are today with Techno Metal Post Thunder Bay now serving a very wide territory, installing helical piers in these regions and surrounding areas: Dryden, Fort Frances, Red Lake, Ignace, Kenora, Atikokan, Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Upsala.
